Isabelle Carré teaches the flute at all levels up to and including postgraduate. She delivers workshops on historical instruments for the Bate Collection of Musical Instruments in the Faculty of Music, Oxford. She was Artistic Director of the Royal Festival Hall Gamelan Education Programme 1995-2005, and founded and directed the gamelan programme at the Cité de la Musique in Paris 1993-98. She also directs Oxford Youth Gamelan.
